Change But Not For Change Sake

Listening to the sermon a couple weeks ago the pastor mentioned the Methodist church must change in order to bring people into the church.  I posted on Facebook change for change sake is destructive.  We need Godly change.  The sermon may imply Godly change but I believe it should have been clearly stated. Call me paranoid and tell me I am being as picky as the persons I point out.  But I believe there is an agenda. Change in the manner of the Presbyterian and Episcopal churches are divisive and not popular.
